Guided by sommelier Sebastian Langkamer, embark on an educational wine experience whilst meeting people in a lovely scene. New Farm park is the perfect scene for a picnic, blessed as we are with the weather in Brisbane, and is one of the few places that allows alcohol in public, provided you have accompanying food.
Sebastian is the ex-manager at wine bar Grape Therapy and our resident wine expert sommelier. With his charming British wit and in-depth knowledge, Sebastian will take you on a wine journey of the senses, senseless facts and answer any questions you can conjure.

Description
This an event like none other with everything you can imagine for a beautiful picnic in New Farm Park. We’ll be running a wine tasting with matching foods guided by sommelier Sebastian Langkamer. You’ll be seated at a lovely set up table with all the trimmings (see list below) and we’ll get you to move seats after each tasting to allow you to meet more people.
After the food and drink we’ll set up a game of croquet so you’ll be keen to stick around and get to know people whilst partaking in a fun activity.

Our picnic table set up will include all of the following: tables, outdoor rugs, cushions, napkins, table cloths, table decorations, giant water dispenser, china, cutlery and glassware.
Our first course, entree will be a range of tapas with a matching wine.
Second course, main, will be cheese boards with matching wine.
Third course, desert, will be a selection of cakes and fruit (with a matching wine).
