Sunday 27th February 1:00 | $49 includes three wine tastings with matching courses & croquet | New Farm Park|
This is an event like none other with everything you can imagine for a beautiful picnic in New Farm Park. We’ll be running a wine tasting with matching foods guided by sommelier Sebastian Langkamer. You’ll be seated at a lovely set up table with all the trimmings (see list below) and we’ll get you to move seats after each tasting to allow you to meet more people.
After the food and drink we’ll set up a game of croquet so you’ll be keen to stick around and get to know people whilst partaking in a fun activity.
New Farm park is the perfect scene for a picnic, blessed as we are with the weather in Brisbane, and is one of the few places that allows alcohol in public, provided you have accompanying food. Feel free to bring your own drinks to the event.
Sebastian is the ex-manager at wine bar Grape Therapy and is our resident wine expert sommelier. With his charming British wit and in-depth knowledge, Sebastian will take you on a wine journey of the senses, senseless facts and answer any questions you can conjure.
Our picnic table set up will include all of the following: tables, outdoor rugs, cushions, napkins, table cloths, table decorations, giant water dispenser, china, cutlery and glassware.
We’ll meet near the Rotunda towards the river. (Near where the ring road is close to the river).
