Come make some new friends whilst doing a wine tour; individual ladies only – no groups!
Saturday 9th July 9am | $70 includes 2 wine-tastings, lunch, shared cheese platter | Bus departs Roma St stop 125
This Winery Tour event is an excellent opportunity to make some new friends. Maybe you’ve just moved to Brisbane, or you’ve found that all your current friends don’t go out much anymore and you need some new wing-women. Here is a chance for you to feel confident coming to an event by yourself, so you won’t have to hit the town solo when it’s time for the next big night out. We’ll be sure to introduce you all to each other, do a bit of an icebreaker activity to begin with and you’ll have plenty of bonding opportunities throughout the day .
Today we’re firstly headed to Woongooroo Estate near Kilcoy, for a wine tasting with local winemakers Phil and Gayle. Once you try their moscatos, I’m sure you’ll agree that QLD wine can be surprisingly good. It is here at Woongooroo Estate that we’ll have a friendly up close encounter with the local llama and alpaca population.
It’s burgers for lunch at Woongooroo and you’ll have a choice between steak, chicken, vegetarian and vegan. Please let us know which one you’d like in the Additional Information/Notes section of the signup form.
After some bush poetry with Phil, we’ll head to beautiful Maleny and iconic winery there The Barrel. The Barrel has some spectacular views, of a giant barrel, and also the lovely landscape 🙂 We’ll have a second wine tasting here, paired with a shared cheese platter.
We’ll bus you to all the destinations, to and from Roma St. The bus departs from stop 125, opposite the Police Station, near Makerston St.
